Voice Lessons & Coaching

About Me

From a small country town in New South Wales (Australia) to the stage of the Sydney Opera House, my path in music has been one of passion, hard work, and the transformative power of great teachers, coaches and mentors.

Supported by some of Australia’s most prestigious scholarships, I’ve had the privilege of performing and studying across the world. Now based in Berlin — one of the world’s great operatic cities — I’m opening my studio to singers and music lovers of all ages and levels.

Whether you’re a young singer with professional ambitions, an adult who has always wanted to explore their voice, or a child taking their very first steps in music, I’d love to be part of your journey and to see just how far your voice can take you.

My Story

I grew up in the small country town of Milton, NSW, in a family where music was always in the air — my mother and sister sang rock and pop, and I was the shy one in the corner who found her voice slowly, through school choirs and quiet practice. For a long time I preferred the safety of singing with others rather than alone, and I think that experience gives me a genuine understanding of how vulnerable it can feel to put your voice out there.

That shyness didn’t stop me from chasing music wherever it led. From my school choir in Milton, I worked my way up to more advanced ensembles, an a cappella group, and eventually the Motet Choir at Canberra Girls Grammar School, which toured New Zealand and performed at the Canberra International Music Festival. What had started as something I did quietly in the background had become the centre of my life.

I went on to train at the Australian National University and the Queensland Conservatorium, and from there the opportunities kept opening up — summer programs in Italy, scholarships with the Melba Opera Trust, and eventually the stage of the Sydney Opera House with Opera Australia, where I performed and covered principal roles and worked across some of the most beloved operas in the repertoire. Along the way I was honoured to win some of Australia’s most prestigious singing awards, including the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award and the Opera Foundation Lady Fairfax New York Scholarship.

Although my heart is in classical singing, I believe classical technique is the foundation for healthy, strong singing in any genre — and that belief shapes everything I do in the studio.

In 2025, my husband and I made the biggest and most exciting move of our lives — relocating to Berlin, one of the world’s great operatic cities, with our then 6 month old baby girl in tow. It was equal parts terrifying and thrilling, and it has reminded me all over again what it feels like to start fresh in a new place, to be brave, and to back yourself. I’m now building my life and my teaching studio here, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring everything I’ve learned — on stage, in the rehearsal room, and in life — to the singers and music lovers of Berlin.
